“Sweden’s best live band” fills a unique and special place on the Swedish and Nordic music scene. As a tribute to one of the world’s largest carnivals, Mardi Gras, Louisiana Avenue invites you to a colorful party where anything can happen!

Louisiana Avenue is the 8 piece band with a full horn section that pours out of New Orleans’ simmering pot of magnificent music that contains a variety of styles, such as soul, jazz, funk, blues – often intertwined with each other. In addition to colorful stage costumes, as if taken from a Mardi Gras parade, the carnival feeling is enhanced by elements such as inflatable unicorns, plastic necklaces, parasols and several flamboyant outfit changes. The band truly creates a party that everyone is invited to!

Behind the joyous and exhilarating stage performances is a seriously intended philosophy of love. The group calls themselves a “message-driven joy orchestra” where the basic value is the obvious inclusion of everyone.
