Simply Tina

The Tina Turner Tribute Show! An unparalleled homage to the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll – authentic, energetic, and unforgettable!

Tina Turner, born Anna Mae Bullock on November 26, 1939, in Nutbush, Tennessee, was a true legend in music history and one of the brightest icons of our time. Her unparalleled career began in the 1950s when she rocked the stages as the frontwoman of the explosive Ike & Tina Turner Revue alongside her then-husband Ike Turner. With unforgettable hits like “River Deep – Mountain High” and “Proud Mary,” she took the world by storm and became a global sensation.

After her separation from Ike Turner in 1976, Tina bravely embarked on a solo career that made history. Her incredible voice, combined with her energetic stage presence, earned her countless awards, including multiple Grammy Awards.

“Simply-Tina” is a musical tribute to one of the greatest artists of our time. This tribute show celebrates the best of over fifty years of Tina Turner – from her early days with classics like “River Deep Mountain High” and “Proud Mary” to her unforgettable solo hits such as “What’s Love Got to Do with It,” “Simply the Best,” and “Private Dancer.”

The exceptional singer Bonita Niessen brings the biggest hits to the stage with impressive stage presence and her sensational voice – authentic, full of passionate energy, and with an electrifying live performance. Together with six top-notch musicians and two background singers, she takes the audience on a musical journey through five decades of Tina Turner!

*Bonita Niessen
Bonita Niessen works with numerous pop and big bands as well as orchestras, including the Bundeswehr Big Band, the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, and the Dortmund Philharmonic. She has also been engaged as a background singer for artists such as Till Brönner, Daliah Lavi, Helene Fischer, and Stefanie Heinzmann.

She took part in the casting show SSDSGPS and achieved second place in 2004. Her teaching activities include guest lecturer positions at the Powervoice Academy Hamburg and the University of Church Music in Herford. She has recording contracts with BMG Hamburg and Raab Records/Warner Music and has released several albums and singles.

As a songwriter and composer, she works both on her own albums and for other artists and studios. On TV, she has performed with Michael Bublé and Kool & The Gang, and took part in the live broadcast of the Luther Pop-Oratorium on ZDF. Her voice can also be heard in SWR3 radio jingles, and she has worked in the studio with Dieter Falk and Lillo Scrimali.

*Daisiana Lekatompessy
For several years now, she has been among the most successful and sought-after live entertainers in Germany. The resemblance to Tina Turner is unmistakable — and her interpretations match the original in expressive power and intensity.

With an energetic stage presence and infectious joy of performance, she captivates audiences from the very first minute. In her Far Eastern homeland, she has been honored with numerous awards. From Jakarta to Singapore, fans celebrate her incomparable renditions of legendary megahits.
