Alba Armengou

Alba Armengou, a singer and trumpeter from Barcelona, is an exceptional talent!
As a highly gifted soloist, Alba Armengou became part of the world-renowned Sant Andreu Jazz Band from Barcelona at the tender age of seven, where she remained for a total of 13 years. Several stars have emerged from this prestigious and renowned jazz school, including, for example, Andrea Motis and Rita Payés.

During her time with the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, she deepened her understanding of the world of jazz and was able to fully develop her outstanding talent as both a trumpeter and a gifted singer. It is therefore hardly surprising that by the age of 21, she had already contributed to over 30 albums.

In 2020, she launched her own musical project with guitarist Vicente López and released her debut solo album, “Susurros del Viento.” In this album, she brought together all the musical styles that have accompanied her on her journey, heavily influenced by Latin American and Brazilian music.

On stage, she impresses as a trio or as a sextet with an exciting musical journey and her inner sound universe, drawing inspiration from boleros, Catalan Cançó, Bossa Nova, Latin, and jazz.

Alba Armengou sings with her captivating voice in four languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
