Balkumbia is a multicultural music project from Barcelona, bringing together musicians from diverse cultural backgrounds and captivating audiences around the world with its infectious energy. Guided by the motto “Danceable Fusion of Global Rhythms,” the band blends musical traditions from different continents into a unique live experience filled with joy, diversity, and celebration.

Combining original compositions with fresh reinterpretations of timeless classics, Balkumbia creates a vibrant sound that bridges tradition and modernity. The band transcends cultural boundaries, turning every concert into an unforgettable celebration where audiences simply can’t help but dance.

Balkumbia has performed more than 300 concerts across 16 countries in Europe and Latin America. During tours throughout Europe, Colombia, Mexico, and Chile, the band has shared the stage with internationally acclaimed artists such as Manu Chao, Balkan Beat Box, and Chico Trujillo.

With the release of their albums Balkumbia (2016), Volumen 2 (2017), and Mala Suerte (2022), the band has built a loyal international fan base. Their highly anticipated new album is set for release at the end of 2026.
